Can I pick up a packet for someone else?

Yes. You may pick up a packet for a friend or family member.  Please have their confirmation email or confirmation number available.

Can I pick up my packet on race day?

Yes. However, participants are highly encouraged to pick up their packets BEFORE race day. A friend or family member can pick up your packet at pre-race packet pickup with a copy of your event confirmation. If you decide to pick up your packet RACE DAY, ARRIVE EARLY and expect long lines.

Where and when do I pick up my packet?

Pre-race Packet Pick-up will be at Fitness Together at 208 W. Campbell Road, Richardson, TX.

Can you mail me my packet?

Unfortunately, packets can only be picked up during the predetermined packet pick-up times. They cannot be mailed – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Is there a cap on race entries for your events?

This is no cap on the Gobble Hobble race event, but it is best to register early.

Are there age group awards for your events?

Yes, there will be age group awards at for the 5K and 10K.

Do I need to stay for the Awards Ceremony?

Staying for the awards ceremony is not required but encouraged. We will have vendor tents for you to visit after you complete the race while you wait for the awards ceremony.

Are your races open to walkers?

Yes, all events are open to runners and walkers. Police and course marshals will strictly enforce course closures when the time limit has expired.

Will participants receive a finisher medal?

Yes, all Fun Run, 5K, and 10K finishers will receive finisher medals.

Are headphones and music devices permitted?

Yes. Music devices and headphones are permitted; however, please be alert and aware of your surroundings for your safety and the safety of others around you.

Is there an age minimum or maximum?

There is no minimum or maximum age as long as the participant can run or walk on their own.

Where are the restrooms located?

Port-o-lets will be available at the event.

I’m registered for the race, but I can’t run due to a change in my schedule or an injury. Can I still pick up my packet?

Yes, please stop by the pre-race packet pick-up location to get your SWAG Bag and shirt. Please inform a team member that you will not be participating in the event so they can deactivate your bib. Please be advised that medals are reserved for FINISHERS registrants ONLY. Race packets WILL NOT be mailed, nor will REFUNDS, TRANSFERS or DEFERRALS be issued under any circumstances.

I can’t run. Can I get a refund or transfer my entry to a future race?

In the event that issues come up that prevent you from racing as planned we are not able to issue refunds, partial refunds, or deferrals. All participant entries are non-refundable, and non-transferable under any and all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event.

What time is registration and Packet Pick-Up on race day?

Packet pick-up opens at 7:00AM on race day.

Is there medical help available on the course?

All police will have the ability to radio for ambulance assistance if needed.

Can non-participants eat and drink the food available in the Food Tent?

The post-race food is generally meant for people who paid to be in the event. Please be respectful of this and the runners who need to rehydrate and replenish after the race. Vendors and sponsors will have sample foods and beverages available to both runners and spectators.

How do I find out how I did (see my results)?

Results will be posted on the race website.

Can I be guaranteed my shirt size?

In order to guarantee you receive a t-shirt please register by October 20. We will not allow shirt size exchanges until packet pick-up closes on RACE DAY. Please be advised that shirts are ordered well in advance and the sizes provided are used as estimates to complete the pre-race bulk order. For the best chance of receiving your registered size, please pick up your packet as early as possible. We recommend NOT waiting until RACE DAY. Shirt exchanges will be allowed RACE DAY (after packet pick-up closes) based on availability. Shirts WILL NOT be mailed under any circumstance.

What if there is a storm or inclement weather on race day?

The race director reserves the right to modify, shorten, or cancel the race due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances that make the race unsafe. Race management will work with police and city officials to determine if cancellation is required and/or if a rescheduled date is available and possible.

Can I register the day of the event?

No, registration closes November 22, 2019 at 11:59PM CDT.

Do you allow animals at any of the races?

We LOVE our furry friends, and they are welcome to be spectators, but our insurance and permit restrictions do not allow animals on the course unless it is a service animal, which must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times.

Is there a charge for parking at the event?

There is not a charge for parking at the Gobble Hobble race.

What happens after the finish?

After you cross the finish line you will proceed to the vendor tables to pick up water for rehydration and a light snack. The Award Ceremony will begin at 10:00AM so we encourage participants to stay to watch the ceremony and post-race celebration.
